Since deregulation, carriers publish their own tariffs with different base rates. Because of this, a carrier with a larger discount could actually cost more than a different carrier with a lower published discount. For example, Carrier “A” with a 75% discount may cost more than Carrier “B” with a 70% discount.

Here’s where Laser Transportation is different. Our “Load to Ride” service provides discounts common carriers cannot match due to the very nature of their operation. When a common carrier handles LTL orders, their rate allows for a pickup truck, a line haul trailer, dock costs, dockworkers costs and a delivery truck. Since we only focus on larger orders, our pickup driver delivers your order without stopping at a terminal, thereby eliminating unnecessary costs.
